Best Leading and Innovative Teaching Practices in Hospitality Financial Management Education
Dear Colleagues,
The Journal of Hospitality Financial Management (JHFM) is pleased to announce a Special Issue Call for Papers titled: Best Leading and Innovative Teaching Practices in Hospitality Financial Management Education.
As part of the relaunch of JHFM, this special issue aims to advance scholarship and practice at the intersection of hospitality finance education, pedagogical innovation, and industry relevance. This Special Issue seeks contributions that bridge pedagogy and practice, showcasing innovative teaching models, curriculum design, applied financial frameworks, and technology-enhanced learning approaches that strengthen student learning and professional readiness.
Themes and Topics (including but not limited to):
We welcome submissions addressing:
Pedagogical innovation and instructional design in hospitality finance education
AI, analytics, and emerging technologies in teaching and learning
Industry-integrated teaching models and experiential learning
Asset management, valuation, investment decision-making, and financial performance education
Empirical research on learning outcomes and career readiness
Global and cross-cultural perspectives in hospitality finance education
Conceptual frameworks and curriculum development models
Submissions may include:
Empirical research studies
Pedagogical innovations and teaching notes
Applied industry case studies
Conceptual and framework papers
